What we’ve been talking about over the last few emails is actually tied together by one straightforward underlying principle.

And as it turns out, Mr. Gates knows a thing or two about marketing automation… so I’ll turn it over to him to hammer this one home:

“The first rule of any technology used in a business is that automation applied to an efficient operation will magnify the efficiency. The second is that automation applied to an inefficient operation will magnify the inefficiency.”
